Artist Statement
Pam’s been making jewelry since 2003; she started off making jewelry for her family and friends and fell in love with the beads. She’s always loved jewelry and decided to try her hand at making it. She especially loves working with stone (because of the colors and patterns in them) and lampwork beads made by local artists. She has taken classes in silversmithing, lost wax casting, lapidary, wire wrapping, Viking knit, PMC (precious metal clay) and taught herself Kumihimo (a Japanese eight strand weaved cord). Pam does about ten juried art shows a year and has her jewelry in two galleries.
